This week, from June 15 to 19, we join communities across Newfoundland and Labrador in recognizing Public Service Week, a time to celebrate the dedication, commitment and contributions of the thousands of public service employees who serve our province every day.
Public servants play a vital role in keeping our province strong and our communities thriving. From health care and education to infrastructure, social services and beyond, the work of public service employees touches the lives of people in every corner of Newfoundland and Labrador. Their efforts often go unseen, but the impact they make is felt by all of us.
At Provident10, we are proud to support more than 65,000 members across the province, including active employees and those who have transitioned into a well-earned retirement. Our role is to be here for our members through every stage of their pension journey, and that is a responsibility we take seriously. The people behind our province’s public service are the reason we do what we do.
As part of this year’s recognition, our CEO, Chuck Bruce, has also shared a short video message reflecting on the important role public service employees play across our province and expressing our appreciation for their contributions.
Whether you are just starting your career in public service, navigating a life change, or planning ahead, we offer resources to support you at every stage. Our Pension Calculator helps you estimate your future pension, and Member Information Sessions provide opportunities to better understand your benefits. For a quick overview of the Plan, you can explore Plan at a Glance. We also encourage you to stay connected by subscribing to Provident10 Pulse and following us on LinkedIn for updates, insights, and pension-related tips.
Public Service Week is a meaningful opportunity to pause and acknowledge the important work that happens across our province each and every day. To all public service employees, past and present: thank you for your service, your dedication and the lasting difference you make in our communities.
