Our CEO, Chuck Bruce, Recognized as Finalist for Leader of the Year Award

We’re proud to share that our CEO, Chuck Bruce, was named a finalist for the Leader of the Year Award at the Institutional Connect Awards. This recognition reflects Chuck’s exceptional leadership and his commitment to building a strong, member-focused organization.

As the inaugural CEO of Provident10, Chuck has guided the administration of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Public Service Pension Plan since our inception, managing a $12.7 billion fund and serving more than 65,000 members. Under his leadership, Provident10 has been named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top Employers for four consecutive years.

He currently serves as President of the Association of Canadian Pension Management, where he advocates for sustainable retirement frameworks and best practices in governance. He also chairs the Mental Health Commission of Canada, championing workplace wellness and suicide prevention initiatives nationwide.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners for their well-deserved recognition!
