CPP integration & the Bridge Benefit
Your Provident10 pension is integrated with the Canada Pension Plan (CPP). If retiring from the PSPP before you’re entitled to receive an unreduced CPP benefit at the age of 65, you’ll receive a Bridge Benefit until that time.
Retirement income sources
In addition to your Provident10 pension and CPP, other government sources like Old Age Security (OAS), as well as Additional Savings Tools such as Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs) and Tax-Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs), may also play a role in your overall retirement income. The Government of Canada has a Canadian Retirement Income Calculator to assist your planning.
